The rare and elusive Blue Chanterelle (Polyozellus marymargetae) is a mushroom that grows at 2000' elevation or greater. It is a delicious mushroom that is not commonly found by foragers. 

Blue chanterelles used to be called Polyozellus multiplex until it was discovered this name contains an entire group of individual species. In 2017, P marymargetae was officially named.
