For sale here are dried collections of the Lion's Mane mushroom, Hericium erinaceous. It is often found growing off hardwoods in the wild where it is a rare find in most localities. Luckily, it is easy to cultivate. Ours are grown off sustainably harvested oak pellets and soybean hulls and are vegan / kosher friendly. Spent blocks are donated to local farmers where they're used to rehabilitate soils and habitats decimated by agriculture.
I do my best to harvest before the spines grow as the texture doesn't translate very well from fresh to dried.
I end up donating overstock to my local community or friends at church, or eat them myself, so I make sure to choose only the finest fruits that are free from rot, bugs or bacterial infection. Please expect restaurant-grade quality, and let us know if the samples you receive do not meet your expectations, so that we can refund or replace.
